Ten Texture Designs

Now I am going to put together about ten textures onto this post, some previous and some new, here they are.

In Order:
Light Metal
- First of all I made clouds with the basic black and white theme. Then I added noise with the monochromatic feature. Next I have added a blur effect and finally added shading in both corners.

Rusted Steel
- First I made noise under the monochromatic setting. I then lowered the opacity of the brush and lightly coloured in the rust. Then a new layer with clouds. Finally another new layer but with red clouds.

Old House Bricks
- Add clouds with black and white, then plaster wrap with the settings, Highlight strength 15, detail 6 and smoothness 7. Then crosshatch with the settings, stroke length 16, sharpness 11 and strength 1. Next craquelure with the settings, crack spacing 33, crack depth 7 and crack brightness 3. Finally adjust the hue/saturation.

Steel
- Add noise in monochromatic, Then finally motion blur the image.

Stone
- I picked the colours grey and black, then I added clouds. Click on channel then add a new layer with clouds again. Adjust the contrast, then click on the RGB layer and then click back onto the layer section off channels, finally lighting effects. Adjust the lighting to one way.

Grass
- First of all I filled the whole layer with a green colouring, then add noise and click on the Gaussian option before clicking okay. Next we go to Gaussian blur and set it to 0.9. Next we add wind, make sure it staggers to the right, then rotate the image 90 degrees clockwise. Then add more wind again but this time to the left and rotate 90 degrees anti clock wise. Next I adjusted the level down. Finally crop off the edges that show the black boarder.

Water
- First I chose two water colours, then I added clouds, opened up another layer and did the same again, then one more layer and chrome. Finally I blended the layers together.

Rock
- Clouds with black and white, different clouds, then finally emboss, angle 135, height 3, amount 500%. (I also added a molten version because I can).

Fire
- Clouds, difference clouds x6. Edit > Gradiant map black, red, orange, yellow and white. Then twirl and I added wind to my fire.

Sand
- Add noise, monochromatic, then sand colours, clouds, lower the opacity to 50%. Next add an orange layer and change to method to colour with 40% opacity. Finally add a blue layer with the lighter colour method.
