Rust

Today I have designed a sheet of rust on Photoshop. I have done this by first making a thin line go down with the marquee tool. Then I did the gradient tool, mirrored with gradient mirror and used the colours white and a dark grey. Then I went to edit > Define Patterns then selected the whole page and went to edit > fill > patterns. Next I opened up a new layer and done filter > clouds, filter crystallize > 10 and filter > crystallize > 5. Then I clicked multiply and lowered the opacity. Finally I opened up another layer and added a rusty orange with a soft brush. Here is my result.
