Time for the evaluation, I have met my criteria with designing all ten patterns but I have made extra just to show I am capable with making several different patterns. Also I have done various amounts of research on different locations of buildings, scenery and actual textures just to show I have had a collected amount of data for texturing. I have done a few digital photography as well for revision on the textures. I have used mind mapping just for ideas to show I have planned out what might be needed within the range of textures I am able to make.
I have done a few tutorials with my tutors and a few tutorials online, by doing the online tutorials I have managed to expand the amount I can take in on texture designing. Another thing I have done is just messing around with all the different functions on photoshop, by doing this I have shown, just testing out features not used before and adapting to how they are used, which shows I am capable of experimenting and discovering new ways to use photoshop on my own.
Some more research I have done though is the scenery within games. I have used scenery from two different console eras. I have done the Nintendo 64 era and the Nintendo Gamecube Era. By doing this I have been able to compare and see how the textures have developed over the years. The Nintendo 64 Era is still basic while the Gamecube era is more advanced and uses more complex textures.
Finally I do think I could have done more annotations and wording things better but apart from that I am happy with what I have accomplished in this unit.
